This page covers the trading rules, evaluation requirements, loss limits, payout conditions and account restrictions published by Foxx Funded. It is written for informational purposes and draws exclusively from the firm's own official pages, each of which was checked on 2026-09-30: the Foxx Funded home page, the rules and FAQ page, the payouts page and the terms and conditions.

Foxx Funded operates performance evaluations on simulated MetaTrader 5 demo accounts. No real funds are deposited by participants and no live trades are executed. All account balances, profit figures and loss calculations described below apply to simulated capital only. The firm offers two programs: a 1-Step evaluation and an Instant Funding option. The rules that follow apply to both unless a specific program is named.

Evaluation Programs: 1-Step and Instant Funding

Foxx Funded lists two distinct paths on its home page and rules page. The 1-Step program requires traders to complete a single evaluation phase before becoming qualified participants. The Instant Funding program is a separate offering with its own payout schedule. Simulated account sizes available across the programs range from $10,000 to $500,000.

The table below summarises the key targets and limits as stated on the official pages. Figures shown are for illustration only and apply to every account size within the 1-Step program, since the official pages publish the same percentage values regardless of account size.

Profit Target and Minimum Trading Days

To complete the 1-Step evaluation, traders must reach a 7% profit target calculated on closed profit, as confirmed on the rules page. A minimum of 5 trading days must be completed before the challenge can be considered finished. There is no maximum time limit: the official pages state that the evaluation runs for unlimited time, so traders are not penalised for taking longer to reach the target.

The maximum risk per individual trade is capped at 2% of the account balance. This limit must be respected on every trade throughout the evaluation.

Loss Limits: Daily Drawdown and Maximum Drawdown

Understanding how drawdown limits are calculated is essential before trading any evaluation. For a detailed explanation of how these two types of limits differ in general prop firm practice, see this guide on Daily Drawdown vs Max Drawdown Explained for Prop Traders.

On the 1-Step program, the Foxx Funded rules page states the following:

  • Daily drawdown: 4%. This resets every trading day. The rules page notes the daily reset is based on the illustration using the initial balance with no open positions at the daily reset.
  • Maximum overall loss: 8%. This is a static limit based on the initial capital, meaning it does not trail upward as the account grows.

As a hypothetical example for illustration only: on a $100,000 simulated account, a 4% daily loss limit equals $4,000, and an 8% maximum overall loss limit equals $8,000. Breaching either threshold at any point ends the evaluation.

If you want to calculate your own daily loss threshold before placing trades, a Prop Firm Daily Loss Calculator can help you work out the exact dollar value of your limit for any account size.

Consistency Rule

The rules page lists a 25% consistency rule, defined as a maximum of 25% of the cycle's profit per trade idea. This means no single trade idea should account for more than one quarter of the total profit generated within a given cycle. For a broader explanation of how consistency rules work across prop firm programs in general, the article on the Prop Firm Consistency Rule Explained for Traders provides useful context.

Trading Restrictions

The terms and conditions set out a range of prohibited trading activities. The following are explicitly listed as grounds on which a payout may be refused, cancelled or delayed:

  • High-frequency trading (HFT) or latency arbitrage
  • Use of trade copiers, signal mirroring or multi-account synchronisation
  • News trading, volatility exploitation or order manipulation during restricted periods
  • Grid, martingale or similar risk-excessive strategies
  • Any method that contradicts the purpose of evaluating legitimate trading skill

The terms state that the company's decision to refuse a payout based on trading style or behaviour is final, binding and non-appealable.

Regarding news trading specifically: the terms list it among prohibited methods, but the official pages checked do not publish a specific list of restricted news events or a defined time window around releases. Traders who use news-related strategies should review this restriction carefully. For broader context on how prop firms typically approach this topic, the article on News Trading Rules in Prop Firms: What You Must Know is a useful reference.

Regarding weekend and overnight holding: the official pages checked do not state a specific rule permitting or prohibiting holding positions over the weekend or overnight.

Regarding Expert Advisors (EAs): the official pages checked do not publish an explicit blanket rule on EAs. However, the terms prohibit high-frequency trading, latency arbitrage and any automation deemed to contradict the purpose of evaluating legitimate skill. Traders intending to use automated tools should check with Foxx Funded support directly.

Regarding leverage: the official pages checked do not state a specific leverage figure. If position sizing relative to your account balance is a concern, a Prop Firm Lot Size Calculator can help you stay within the 2% per-trade risk limit. Additional guidance on sizing in general can be found in this article on Lot Sizing for Prop Firm Accounts: The Complete Guide.

Who May Trade or Access the Account

The terms and conditions state that trader accounts are personal and cannot be shared. Specifically, Section 6.2 reads: "Your account is personal and cannot be shared. If you suspect a breach, you must notify the Company immediately." The terms also state that traders are limited to one active account per challenge level unless otherwise approved in writing (Section 6.3). The use of trade copiers and multi-account synchronisation is listed among prohibited trading methods.

Payouts and Performance Rewards

Payout conditions differ between the two programs, as published on the payouts page.

1-Step Program Payouts

  • First payout is available after 14 trading days.
  • Subsequent payouts are available every 7 trading days.
  • Trader performance reward share: 70%, rising to 80%, then to 90% over successive cycles.

Instant Funding Program Payouts

  • First payout is available after 4 weeks.
  • Subsequent payouts are available every 2 weeks.
  • Trader performance reward share: 50% to 80%, increasing over time.

Payouts are processed through Rise. Traders must request their payout from the Foxx Funded client area once eligible, complete identity verification and keep their account within program rules. The terms confirm that payouts are discretionary and derived from company operational revenue, not from live trading profits. The company and its validation partners reserve the right to approve or reject any account at their sole discretion.

Scaling

The official pages checked do not publish a formal scaling plan with specific milestones or conditions for increasing account size beyond the initial selection. The maximum simulated account balance available at purchase is $500,000.

Platform and Support

All evaluations run on MetaTrader 5. Foxx Funded states that 24/7 support is available and that traders can connect with the community via Discord. The firm is registered in Saint Lucia (Foxx Limited, Company No: 2026-00126) and also lists Semizu L.L.C.-FZ, registered in Dubai, UAE. Regional restrictions apply: the official pages list the USA, Sudan, Syria, North Korea, Iran and the UAE as restricted regions where services are not available.

We pass Foxx Funded challenges. You buy the challenge in your own name and share only its MT5 login; our traders pass it in 5-6 days on average, and you pay our fee only after we pass. We have no partnership with Foxx Funded, and its rules on this page apply to your account as written. If Foxx Funded closes your account because our team traded it, we buy you a new challenge account of the same size and pass it for free, on presentation of its notice of closure; lost payouts are not covered (Terms, section 3). Talk to us on Telegram.
